As Digestive

The digestive apparatus is a set of organs whose fundamental mission consists of promoting the ordered progression of the food, the digestion and the absorption of the food constituents.

For this to happen, a series of processes throughout the different phases of the digestive system must take place. In each one of these phases within the alimentary canal, there are different events that take place and are going to allow the absorption of different ingested foods.

In the thin intestine, the true digestion of foods and their elementary components -apt for its absorption, takes place.

Once the foods have been broken down in their elementary components, they are mainly going to be absorbed.

In the stomach - thanks its motility and regular operating trait, it eases the breakdown of solid foods and the evacuating towards the duodenum.

The components of the Red Cinchona bark tea, which contain: quinidine and quinine, have irrefutable digestive properties. These properties are evidenced with the increased motility of the alimentary canal .

This particular motility is caused by the unique property of the quinine to relax muscular fibers, since at the very moment of digestion, this is produced by a contraction and relaxation of muscular fibers. This relaxation of muscular fibers generate the known sensation of “caused fullness” after having a meal. Then it diminishes.

This property of increased GASTRIC MOTILITY is reflected in the sensation of “hunger” reason why it is highly recommended as an appetite stimulant, reason why it is used for the treatment of ANOREXY. It’s also been viewed that when patients ingest said alkaloids contained in the quinine-tea, the metabolic machinery is readied for a quicker and more effective digestion process which then swiftly alleviates the sense of FULLNESS promoted by fast foods –typically ingested by un-readied anabolic, catabolic and metabolic preparedness
